What Are Network Marketing Companies?

Everybody has his own opinion about network marketing. One person believes that network marketing simply doesn’t work and is only intended for the “best” or “top” of the “pyramid”, while others even claim that network marketing is a form of illegal sales. Nowadays, everybody feels the need to have their say and of course there’s actually nothing wrong with that.

I also understand that some people already had some negative network marketing experiences. Endless sessions of seminars, network marketing CD’s and books, trainings… some people done all of them and afterwards as being enthusiastic entrepreneurs they remained behind with almost nothing, and in many cases also with an empty wallet. Gurus tell you with great enthusiasm to make a list of names, to call friends and family, to contact your friends, to promote your product at trade fairs (where most of the people tell you that they already know it and aren’t interested)… In addition you’re also a member of a network marketing company where you at least spend $300 on products each month. You have been told that this is the normal course of business and of course it’s also a good investment for the future.

Network Marketing Companies And Their Products

However, after a few months, you’re starting to notice that you can’t get rid off these unnecessary products. Of course this is starting to demotivate you. Some people from your circle of friends and family even tell you now “I told you so”. People love to give criticism, and especially if they can break off something that they don’t even know. You defend your business and particularly yourself as a person and as a result, friends and family get even more frustrated. (because you ignore their well-meant advice and are stubbornly hanging on to your faith in network marketing) Many relationships have faltered because of this… does this sound familiar to you? It’s not my intention to disparage network marketing companies. I actually love network marketing and the biggest reason why is because many people (rich or poor, highly educated or not educated) become a millionaire thanks to this form of entrepreneurship.

Is there a way to avoid this scenario? Yes, of course, because there’s a solution to every problem. The above scenario is the outdated method of old network marketing companies. I don’t even have to name names, because you understand quickly if you’re a member of such a company or not. If you’re spending monthly hundreds of dollars on products, regularly paying for “training” or being told to talk about your business opportunity to everyone you meet… then you’re part of such a firm. Do you still drive weekly from prospect to prospect? Do you still bring always and everywhere a sample of the product that you promote with you? If you like this marketing method and also achieve success with it, then this is obviously not a problem. Unfortunately, these marketing methods are bleeding to death. Tell me, do you like it when sales people call you? And do you like to call people yourself to find out if they are interested in your business opportunity or not?

Will Network Marketing Companies Eventually Go Out Of Business?

It’s obvious that the network marketing companies that use these methods will eventually go out of business. In these companies distributors need to pay a registration fee, be on an expensive autoship in order to qualify for some kind of bonus and after that unfortunately the basement is yet again filled with unnecessary products. And moreover, you didn’t make money!

During the 21st, the elderly (10 years and older) multi-level marketing companies will perish anyway. More progressive companies are working through the internet, with compensation plan in which everyone makes money(not just the top) and they are also offering free training programs and so on. And the people who are working with these companies obviously share the same vision.

Obviously, your work attitude and motivation are always the biggest engines of your success while working with network marketing companies. But if your prospects no longer need to spend lots of money to share in that success, it will prove a great service to them and also yourself. Network marketing turned into relationship marketing. Therefore, you also need to use relationship marketing strategies such as social networking sites, Youtube, the internet in general… Keep in mind that there are millions of people worldwide looking for an easy way to work from home and thus to earn money… thanks to network marketing companies.
