That Free Thing (based in Westminster, Colorado) is a network marketing company that is founded in 2011 by Matt Goettsche and Seth Fraser, author of the e-book “The Legal Thief”. The company offers a unique concept that allows its members to get free things. How does it work: because many advertisers don’t have the time or the platform to promote their products efficiently, That Free Thing decided to do the work for them. Although they claim to value the contact with their distributors, keep in mind that That Free Thing is NOT working FOR YOU. You are their only customer and their source of income.

That Free Thing Review

That Free Thing literally searches for free deals all over the internet and offers those products or services to its members or customers. These offers can vary from food, books, music, clothes, health supplements, garden supplies to even multimedia products. That Free Thing emphasizes that they never offer people scams or fake free offers. So in that way you know that they won’t inflict you with all kinds of endless surveys that don’t interest you at all. That Free Thing is active in a great industry, namely online advertising. Another advertising company named Groupon became one of the biggest online advertising companies in the world based on a similar way of advertising.

That Free Thing Compensation Plan

As a member of That Free Thing you are also offered the opportunity to make money. There’s a one time membership fee of $25 to be paid and a recurring monthly fee of $9.95 to remain active in the program. The That Free Thing compensation plan is a 3 x 8 matrix, which means that there’s a chance that you earn money based on the company’s spillover. There are 7 different ways to make money with the That Free Thing compensation plan: Fast Start Bonus, Daily Deals Bonus, Matrix Bonus, TFT Vendor Override, Customer Bonus and Infinity Bonus.

Is That Free Thing A Game Changer?

The top recruiters in programs like That Free Thing are mostly people who go from deal to deal and stop building after approximately 6 to 12 months. Most of the marketing is because of that also based on email marketing, which is in my book the equivalent of spamming. The biggest problem is that some people join such programs in the hope to make some easy and fast income. However, that almost never happens because a network marketing company like That Free Thing is simply not designed to make money fast. Is That Free Thing a game changer? No, not at all, but it’s an original concept and I’m sure that you can make some people happy with some free products and services.

Another limitation is the potential income that you can make with it. That Free Thing only pays its members based on the income they receive from new sign ups. A $9,95 monthly membership fee will never create the rewards that you as the affiliate really deserve. Simply put, even with some spillover you will need to sign up hundreds of people to make a few bucks. Don’t let the numbers mislead you: when you have 84 members in your team, you will earn around $84 per month in the That Free Thing matrix. Is such a ridiculous payout really worth your time and effort?

In the end, if you want to market products and services on the internet, you always need traffic on your website. In fact, traffic is the holy grail of the internet. Without traffic, you will not even be able to sell free things because nobody will know what you have to offer. Thank you for reading this That Free Thing review!

Jens , I like your review. You exposed both the pros and cons. When reviewing a product ,honesty and unbiased research is key.I think you have accomplished both. Thanks and I agree with your asessment of this company, the payout is just not worth the time and effort.

Hi.
Thankfully someone writes a true representation of tft. Another issue I have found is the “freebies”. Over time i have ordered/requested, call it what you want, at least 15 items and recieved…..only 1!!!! Its really dissapointing and the customer service isnt up to much.
I have visited a couple of websites of people who have signed up and to be honest I had a good laugh. Calims of being able to make around £2000 a month by not siging anyone up…..rediculous!
