If you are an active networker, you probably already heard this question before: “can you also offer me another home based business opportunity that will make me earn a massive paycheck?” For sure I can, but what’s the point really? The following example is once again about the same guy that I wrote about in this blog post. This guy kept whining and moaning about the fact that his passive income wasn’t growing fast enough. ARE YOU SERIOUS? He’s in at least 5 other opportunities which is the main reason why he’s not able to share his home based business opportunity with other people. THAT’S THE REASON why his income isn’t growing fast enough. If he learned a bit more about money management and business ethics, he would be doing a lot better.

Now the most funny fact about this guy is that when you do a specific training webinar that will help him to build his business faster… he’s NOT ATTENDING. I mean: seriously?

How can you expect to learn how a particular business works if you aren’t attending (or conducting) training webinars?

How can you expect your team members to attend webinars (or seminars) if you aren’t?

Why Network Marketers Sometimes Build More Than One Home Based Business Opportunity?

Many people who are in the home based business industry are active in a network marketing company (or multiple companies) and that’s their biggest income stream. (besides their day job) The biggest problem that some of these people face is that they jump from one typical mlm company to another every 6 months. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that if they are able to build a huge team with those businesses. But 95% doesn’t even manage to cover their autoship. If you’re not able to build a team and earn a massive paycheck with 1 mlm company, you also won’t succeed with another one. Network marketers sometimes think that several very small paychecks will one day turn into huge residual income. I have to disappoint them, but that will never happen.

The Technology Age Creates Opportunity And Perhaps A Massive Paycheck For You

I read this awesome blog comment by an entrepreneur called John Milanoski yesterday and wanted to share it in this blog post:

“We live in a time of massive change and things can happen faster now than ever before. You will see in your lifetime, companies that start from nothing and go to 1 billion in sales in less than 120 days! Get used to it, embrace it. If this scares you because of your disbelief then take that as a warning to begin re-inventing yourself. Most of what you know is no longer true in business.”

What Has This To Do With Building More Than One Home Based Business Opportunity?

Well, here’s the connection between this comment and building a modern home based business. If you’re focused on a home based business opportunity that works for you, you can build it much faster than in the old days. In the old days, there was no internet: so no blogs, no websites, no lead generation and lead conversion systems. So basically, there was only one way to build your business and that’s by “chasing people”… and yes some people are still chasing people these days and that’s the main reason while most of them fail. Nowadays, whether you’re active in the affiliate or network marketing industry, you can use these marketing systems to market different home based business opportunities. So modern technology created the opportunity to earn multiple income streams and a massive paycheck. I personally believe that this is freaking awesome! It gives ordinary people the opportunity to fire their boss and earn the freedom they deserve. However, there’s a CATCH.

Building More Than One Home Based Business Opportunity Can Confuse You

The people who believed in you and your leadership will be confused if you keep jumping from one home based business opportunity to another. In theory, there’s nothing wrong with looking for a better way to help people. However, if you jump from X to Y for no reason at all, your current team will be confused. Why going through all that trouble to train people and then promoting another home based business opportunity? Your current business is going to suffer because your team members are going to do the same things you are doing. If you stop building, so will your team members.

Or even worse: YOU will be confused because now you will have to decide what you are going to offer to your new prospects? Unless you are a heavy-hitter with a huge network and marketing skills, you will not be able to build more than one team. Moreover, the first thing that people start to do is pitching the same people over and over again. You hear this all the time: after a while people get tired of your brand new home based business opportunity. Even if it was the best thing in the world, they will no longer listen to you.

Why Am I Not Spending A Lot Of Time On Training People Who Promote More Than One Home Based Business Opportunity?

Don’t get me wrong. I’m willing to spend time on training everyone who wants it because I offer a product that makes you residual income on autopilot no matter what. Secondly, it also provides you with a method to promote your other business opportunities. However, if you really want to be one of the top earners in my team, you need to get trained. If I tell you to watch this webinar, write your questions down and then get in touch with me again, but you refuse to do this… then I’m really sorry, but you are wasting your (and my) time. Read this very carefully: We DON’T NEED YOU to make money. I know that this sounds weird because I’m a “networker”, but it’s simply the truth. I don’t need other people to get paid. I do care about other people, but if they aren’t motivated, then I can’t help them.

Bottom line: remember that people always join YOU. If you’re successful and offer a valuable home based business opportunity, people will follow you because of your knowledge, friendship and trust.
