3 Excuses That People Have For Not Building Their Business

In this blog post you will learn 3 excuses that people have for not building their business. If you’re an active business builder, you hear these excuses all the time. I kind of became immune for people how use one of these excuses, because they obviously show a lack of determination. People who lack determination always fail, no matter what. Don’t worry if you recognize yourself in one of these excuses. We all use them from time to time; just don’t forget that when we use them, we are simply lying to ourselves.

There are 3 factors that will be decisive in any kind of business venture: money, time and knowledge. Time is money and you know it. All three are in perfect symbiosis with each other. So when you use one of these excuses, another factor will probably also be influence by it.

3 Excuses That People Have, Lack Of: Money, Time & Knowledge

I don’t have money:

I can understand that things are tough if you don’t have the money to start your own business. However, if you want to start a home based business, you don’t need thousands of dollars. Sell your car… sell your jewelry… sell that brand new iPhone… give up your expensive hobbies… if you’re really prepared to make a sacrifice, you will sell everything that you don’t need to live. It takes money to make money, but you have to use it in your advantage. The 10th pair of shoes won’t put food on your table.

People who use the money-excuse usually also use the next excuse: lack of time. Time is money. In most cases these people have never heard of time leverage and been complaining about not having money their entire life. Instead of investing in themselves, they have spent their time on things that don’t make money.

I don’t have time:

This is probably the lamest excuse that people can have. A home based business is actually the way to achieve financial freedom and with that freedom comes the ability to spend your life the way you want to spend it. If you’re using the time-excuse, you obviously don’t have a clue what the purpose of working a home based business is.

Some people will even tell you that they don’t have time to build their business while they are playing video games or watching TV daily. If you’re committed to creating a better life for you and your family, you’re going to quit all the hobbies that stand in the way of your personal development.

I don’t know how:

Well, go and learn how. Everything looks complicated in the beginning. If you decided as a child that learning how to read was too difficult for you, you wouldn’t be able to read this blog post. Our society teaches adults to think that we can’t be good at everything we do. BUT that’s just total bullshit. I’m not saying that you need to be perfect in everything you do, but it are the mistakes that make you grow. A human being is the only animal that is able to learn from its mistakes.

Some people have that natural reflex of blaming their sponsor or uplines because of not teaching them how to build it big. Even if that’s the case, it’s still not an excuse not to do the effort to go and look for training. Got questions? Write them down, follow the training system and look for the answers yourself. Still got questions? Take your list of questions and get in touch with someone who can answer them.

Which Excuses Do You Sometimes Use?

I love learning, so I almost never use the third excuse. If there’s something that I don’t know or can’t do yet, I just dive into. I actually can’t stand the fact that I’m not able to do something or that someone else knows more than me.

Feel free to comment and share the excuses that you sometimes use. Maybe we’ll be able to help you with finding a way to get rid of your excuses in the future.
